The Arlington Human Rights Commission is accepting nominations for the 16th anniversary James B. Hunter Human Rights Award, to be presented in December.
Nominees should be those whose assignment reflects human-rights achievements on an alone basis, through assignment with added bodies or through specific initiatives.
The choice borderline is Nov. 12. For advice and a choice form, see the Web armpit at http://commissions.arlingtonva.us/human-rights-commission-hrc/.
The awards affairs is called in account of James Hunter III, a constant Arlington citizen alive in a host of administration capacities. Hunter, who served on the County Board, died in 2008.
